2004/5 Global Livestock Mapping, in collaboration  with FAO's Animal Production and Health Division, through its  pro-poor livestock policy development initiative to refine maps of global livestock distribution and production

2000/2003 Introductory Atlas of Animal Resources. An exploratory atlas of livestock geography in Africa and Asia produced for FAO's Animal Production and Health Division.

2004    Software development for data entry and analysis of the Aldabra Giant Tortoise Population Monitoring Database for the Seychelles Islands Foundation and United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation.

2004    Exploratory investigation of cattle movement records in Britain to enhance animal disease surveillance and control strategies, with the Veterinary Laboratories Agency, for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

2002    Management and co-ordination of GIS-based study of the environmental correlates of the distribution and spread of bovine tuberculosis in Britain for the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
